The urbanization and increased population have resulted in new challenges like scarcity of natural resources, quality food, health issues and polluted environment etc. These are some of the reasons why some good thinkers thought of reuse-recycling things so that environment could be saved from pollution and some demands shall also be met. A lot of general waste is consisting of plastic for which so many drives are there to keep use of plastic under control. Another waste of potential is the fabric/cloth waste from the boutiques tailoring shops and textile industries. In ReduceIT, we have thought of using this cloth waste (katrans) and upcycle them to commodities of usage like pouches, handbags, phone covers, carrybags etc. These rags are having the potential of being utilized as some attractive items. Imagine the kind of cloth waste, the way demand for stitched cloth is increasing!

First step for us to use clothes until they are unfit for further wearing. Next try to donate old clothes to the needy.
And finally, upcycle cloth wastes. ReduceIT collects the unused katrans which usually are thrown away and get dumped into landfills. We make creative articles out of these which also generates work from home employment to ladies or gents, who can work from the comfort of their home and earn too.
